On the Xbox Series X/S, Psychonauts 2 will receive HDR and VRR support, a feature that will be completely absent on PlayStation versions of the game. Double Fine hasn’t said why the game isn’t coming to PS5, but it could be a combination of Xbox’s Smart Delivery upgrade system and the fact that Microsoft wants to use Psychonauts 2 to show off the power of the Xbox Series X, compared to the PS5.
